IG Line ALPPR 2000 ARGON is designed for manufacturing insulated glass. It is composed of a glass washing machine, frame assembly station, panel press with argon filling system, and a tilting table. After glass being washed, the first glass enters the press and the press is placing it into position. The second glass is being stopped at the frame assembly station. After the operator place the aluminium frame with butyl on it, the second glass enters the press. The panel press fills the IG unit with argon (if selected by operator), and then glasses and the frame are being pressed. If required the same process is applied for the third glass.
The gas-filling process has been improved by a new turbulence-free gas filling system, in order to achieve maximum gas-filling percentage. The press is divided into chambers to minimize gas consumption. The tilting table is used to tilt glass to the horizontal position. Depending on the programme choice, IG Line ALPPR 2000 ARGON can be used for production of double and triple IG units, filled with argon or not.
